Xolos Falls to Gallos Blancos in Copa MX Play

The Xolos de Tijuana fell to the Gallos Blancos of Queretaro 2 - 3 in what was a hard played game. The local team opened up the scoring in min 22' when Jordi Cortizo sent the ball into the net.
The Xolos responded in min 31' via penalty kick by Leonel "Lolo" Miranda. In the second half the Gallos Blancos went up 2 - 1 then 3 - 1 with goals by George Corral 52' and Gerson Vázquez 61'.
Club Tijuana responded in min 69' with a goal from Camilo Sanvezzo who scored his fourth goal in consecutive games. The Xolos had several opportunities to tie the match but they didn't capitalize and the final score was 3 - 2 in favor of Gallos Blancos.
Xolos will have a bye in week 5 and the will return to action in week 6 when they visit Toluca on August 25th.
